This past weekend at the Mountain Home Farmers Market was pure joy! We had such a great time sharing our vintage tunes with a lively crowd that stopped, listened, clapped along, and even danced a little. There’s nothing quite like seeing familiar faces in the audience—friends, neighbors, and new fans who came by to cheer us on. We felt so much love and support from the community, and it filled our hearts.
The morning started off a little windy, which gave us some funny challenges—our music pages were flapping like they wanted to join the show, mic stands were wobbling, and we had to do a few quick adjustments with our new battery-powered gear. But once we found our groove, the sound came alive and the market was buzzing with energy. Playing outdoors always brings surprises, but it also brings a sense of freedom and connection that makes every performance unique.
We did miss our bandmate Oliver at this event—his violin always adds a sparkle to our sound—but Vern, Jim, and I had a blast filling the air with dobro, guitar, keys, and harmonies. One of the highlights of the morning was when several friends requested Sing Little Jazzy, our new song that will be released on August 1st. It was so much fun to give them a little “sneak peek” of what’s coming, and their smiles reminded us why we can’t wait to share this song with everyone.
