The Brickhouse – Twin Falls’ Hidden Gem for Fantastic Music and Great Food

Sep 29, 2026 | Events

Last week, we got to play our vintage jazz at the Twin Falls Brickhouse. We had heard great things about it from Rick and Mary Kuhn, who have played there regularly. So, we expected it to be nice, but we were blown away by the class of this restaurant.

When we first came in, there were some stairs. They do have a ramp for accessibility, but the stairs are really kind of cool. There are some big doors that open up to a huge room with old wooden floors. This place has been around for a long time. It has these great big things hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the room. I thought maybe it was some kind of projector, but Vern thought it was some pulleys or something from the old factory days. Whatever it was, it looked really interesting and added to the vibe of the place.

The staff were really friendly and helped us find where we should set up. They were all super sweet and they attended to the guests with the same kindness they showed us.

The whole place had the best atmosphere. The food was terrific, too. We got the chicken alfredo with extra vegetables. It was so cheesy and creamy! It melted in our mouths and we couldn't stop eating. We aren't usually big eaters and we often split our dinners. This was so much food. We ended up eating it all just because it tasted so good. And we were both really full and happy.

The vibe of the restaurant was historic and classy with the wine bottles in the cabinets behind us. There was a sound system there, but we brought our own and it worked out fine. People we hadn't met showed up because they heard we were coming. It was fun and we met some great people.

When things died down, we peeked upstairs where they have another room. There was another musician upstairs with a private party. It was a great space with sofas and a bar and a stage. The music was fun and lively, yet we couldn't hear any of it downstairs while we were playing. The whole evening was magical and amazing.

I didn't know this place existed. It has been here for probably a hundred years or more, but I had no idea it was there.

I'm so thankful that someone restored it and is using this space for such a great purpose.

If you haven't been to the Brickhouse in Twin Falls, it's worth a trip to check it out. You won't be disappointed. And, if we're lucky, we might be playing there when you come.
